One of the first things Kenny teaches when he's doing driver coaching is - Smooth is Fast. A simple philosophy that is sometimes hard to grasp, but your best lap times come from your smoothest laps. That rhythm of driving those corners lap after lap, always focusing on hitting your apex and exit, and getting comfortable with your car is what leads to fast and consistent lap times.

Kenny's rule of thumb is always keep your belts tight, be in the proper seating position, and relax your hands on the steering wheel. You don't need to have your hands at "10 and 2" as they taught you in driver's education. You need to have your hands in an appropriate position that's much lower on the steering wheel, and much less fatiguing.

Kenny has a humorous approach to oversteer or understeer. In a nutshell, you either hit the wall with the front of the car or the back of the car. But... Seriously... It's good to know the effects and things you can do to counter-effect these normal conditions when you're on the street or the track.
